Michigan has added a long snapper to its 2026 recruiting class.
Colton Dermer, the No. 6-ranked long snapper in the country according to Kohl’s Kicking, announced his commitment to the Wolverines on Saturday in a post on social media.
“A life long dream come true!!” he wrote. “Incredibly proud to announce I am 100% COMMITTED TO THE UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN! A special thanks to my parents who helped me chase my dream.”
His decision comes one day after receiving a Michigan offer during a camp in Ann Arbor. The rising senior at Sandra Day O’Connor High in Phoenix, Arizona becomes the 10th commit for the Wolverines this cycle.
Special teams coach JB Brown and Michigan also added a transfer long snapper ahead of the 2025 season, landing Trent Middleton from UCLA. He has three years of eligibility remaining.
