New Hampshire man arrested after allegedly traveling to Florence to meet up with underage girl for sex
The Boone County Sheriff's Office says that they arrested a New Hampshire man who traveled to Northern Kentucky to meet up with a minor for sex.
Paul A. Vallatini, 37, was arrested on Friday after police received an anonymous tip about Vallatini. He is being charged with five counts of distribution of obscene matter to a minor and one count of human trafficking of a minor.
Police say they found both Vallatini and the girl together in Florence on Friday.
Upon further questioning, the girl said that she had regularly communicated with Vallatini via Snapchat prior to meeting, where she says he typically sent her nude photographs at least five times a day.
The girl said that she picked Vallatini up from the airport on Thursday, where he proceeded to take her shopping. Vallatini is alleged to have bought the girl numerous gifts, including underwear.
Police say Vallatini stayed at a local hotel on Thursday night, where he was found to be in possession of items corroborating the girl's statements. They also found condoms within Vallatini's duffle bag.
It is not known whether the in-person interactions between Vallatini and the girl progressed any further.
Vallatini is being housed at the Boone County Jail as he awaits his next court appearance.
