The Attorney General's Office, Delia Espinoza Valenzuela, held a formal meeting with the ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Peru, Alexander Kofman, as part of the Dutch Public Prosecutor's Office's reconnaissance tour of priority partner countries in Latin America.

During the meeting, it was discussed strategies to strengthen bilateral technical cooperation with an emphasis on the fight against international crime and corruption of public officials.

Among the proposed actions were training programs, technical assistance, and technology transfer aimed at improving investigative capabilities in complex crimes.

On behalf of the Peruvian Public Prosecutor's Office were José Luis Silva Horna, advisor to the Attorney General's Office; Elmer Chirre Castillo, head of the Office of International Judicial Cooperation and Extraditions, temporary deputy supreme prosecutor; and Cynthia García Arcía, manager of the Office of Projects and International Technical Cooperation.

On behalf of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, participated Fahad Saher, second secretary of the Dutch Embassy.

This meeting reaffirms the commitment of both institutions to consolidate effective mechanisms for international judicial cooperation and strengthen the rule of law in the region.
