Celebrity Big Brother said goodbye to its third housemate on Tuesday night as Trisha Goddard was voted out of the iconic house.
The housemates had nominated two of their fellow contestants to face eviction on Monday night, with Jack P Shepherd, Patsy Palmer, and Trisha, 67, receiving the most nominations.
Trisha received four nominations from Chesney Hawkes, Chris Hughes, Ella Rae Wise, and Patsy, while Jack was nominated by Angellica Bell, Danny Beard, Donna Preston, and Trisha herself. Patsy received six nominations from Angellica, Chesney, Chris, Danny, JoJo Siwa, and Trisha.
During the live eviction on Tuesday, it was announced that Trisha would be leaving the house. Speaking to hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best, Trisha admitted to feeling "kinda sad" and "a bit sad" about her departure, reports OK!
Trisha, who has stage four breast cancer, meaning it’s treatable but not curable, is currently being treated by a palliative care team, after having a major treatment just before entering the house.
Talking earlier on Tuesday's show, Trisha told fellow housemate, Angellica Bell, about her time in the house so far: "I kind of realised - I know the big 'C' comes up a lot - here's a holiday from it. Do you get me? I can just have fun and things like that, and then when I get back out I'm sort of-"
Angellica interrupted: "Back to it? Back to reality, it's sort of a bubble isn't it?" Trisha agreed, saying: "It's a bubble, as I say it's been my respite - not that I expected it to be, I'm completely surprised by that. It's been a respite from treatment and stuff."
It comes as Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke left the Celebrity Big Brother house over the weekend due to "further use of inappropriate language" and "instances of unacceptable behaviour".
This exit comes on the heels of an earlier episode where 'The Wrestler' star received a formal warning from Big Brother for "unacceptable language and behaviour" directed towards his fellow contestant JoJo.
An ITV spokesperson confirmed the departure stating: "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour."
On Friday, audiences saw the season's first eviction on Celebrity Big Brother, with Michael Fabricant being the first to leave the show.
