Missouri removes over 18,000 deceased voters from rolls
Missouri has removed 18,637 deceased voters from its voter rolls in the first 60 days of Secretary of State Denny Hoskins' tenure, his office announced.
The voter list maintenance effort, conducted in coordination with local election officials, is part of routine compliance with state and federal election laws.
Officials say the process ensures the accuracy of voter registration records.
“In Missouri, we are taking action—not just making promises—when it comes to election integrity,” Hoskins said. “By working hand-in-hand with local election officials, we have removed outdated registrations, strengthening confidence in our elections and making sure every vote cast is legitimate.”
Hoskins says his office has also focused on other election-related initiatives, including Missouri’s first public voting equipment demonstration and advocacy for voter verification measures.
